Most Intense Hurricanes of the Eastern North Pacific

I'm starting a project to document the most intense hurricanes of the Eastern North Pacific basin. Since aircraft reconnaissance is not normally conducted in this basin, many of the peak intensities of storms listed below come from satellite estimates.

Hurricane Linda        1997        160 kt    902 mb    attained a 3-h average Objective Dvorak T# of 7.8    (aircraft recon went in later and found a very strong storm)

Hurricane John

Hurricane Kenna       2002        145 kt    913 mb    also sampled after the peak by aircraft recon, hit Mexico as a category 4 hurricane

Hurricane Emilia

Hurricane Gilma
