    In today's fast-paced world, many people are too busy to keep in touch with friends and family. At times, I have been a chief offender, so this newsletter is an attempt to remedy the news blackout that some of my friends, family, and acquaintances have sometimes experienced in recent years. Rather than just send out a mass e-mail, I will put it all into this online newsletter. This format will allow me to share multimedia without clogging up anyone's inbox with large attachments. My goal is to "publish" new entries on a quarterly basis. If you'd like to be notified when a new edition of my newsletter is posted, please join my personal Yahoo Group: JSkyWatcherFriends.  

    I've also created a personal blog which includes entries on life events, weather events, and essays on geopolitics. The blog is updated much more frequently than the newsletter.
