Things done wrong: bad taper (marathon, then visiting, then climbing mountains), then nothing the day before, forgot inhaler, started too fast, rolled ankle a tad
Things done right: marathon training through winter, upped intensity in past few months, started hill running in last few weeks . . . put in a hard effort, didn't slack of much at all (even though I wanted to), didn't redline all the way (which would have been stupid for a B-race), didn't ditch it on the last gravel turn
